What to expect before you download.
Anti-Cheat Incompatibility
Games that require Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) or BattlEye for multiplayer will not function online. Singleplayer modes of these games are unaffected.
Windows Only
DepotManager requires Windows 10 version 21H2 or newer, or Windows 11. Steam must be installed and fully updated.
Offline/Singleplayer Focus
Online multiplayer, co-op matchmaking, and server-browsing features are not supported. LAN play may work depending on the game.
Denuvo & Third-Party Launchers
Games with Denuvo anti-tamper or mandatory third-party launchers (Ubisoft Connect, EA app) are not supported. DepotManager bypasses Steam DRM only — it cannot remove publisher-imposed DRM layers.
Steam Dependency
A free Steam account and the Steam client are required. Games are downloaded from Steam's official servers — no external mirrors.
No Steam Cloud Saves
Depot-downloaded games do not sync saves via Steam Cloud. Back up your save files manually to avoid data loss.
